Portland Oregon Blipmeet
What a glorious day for a blipmeet...one in a long string of unusually warm spring days we are having here in the northwest. We met at the Tabor Space Coffee Shop on 54th and Belmont located in the beautiful 100 year old belltower lit by stained glass window! This is just part of the old Mt Tabor Presbyterian Church which boasts some 36,000 square feet of space...Mt Tabor's community living room!
There were eight of us that could make it, nhc, Bluheron, Kendall, DDon, NannaK (all the way from Seattle), loisbiz, ExtraDays, and myself. It was good to see some new faces and catch up with those I had met before...it is always fun, and the photos are always interesting. I chose this one from inside the actual coffee shop.
Afterwards, several of us visited the 23 Sandy Gallery which has an amazing collection of handmade books. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the work of some talented artists! I've included an extra photo of the shop.
