Hurry Up, It Is Going To Rain...

When I went for my walk this morning at the estuary, I looked up to the mountains and quickened my step.

"I dont think the bad weather has finished with us yet," I thought.

How wrong I was - the day has got steadily better and this afternoon has been quite sunny.  Which is very good for the GODzone Adventure racers currently underway in our district on their 500 km endurance race. Teams are expected to navigate, trek, mountain bike, kayak and canoe over a vast array of different landscapes. Other disciplines will be included which will test the mental and physical skills of participants.

All eyes are on the race because our All Black Rugby hero Richie McCaw is competing.
