.....across the sky after a very warm nor'west day, 26C.

Thanks for all of your comments yesterday, after looking closer at our maple hubby and I discovered tiny shavings of wood on some leaves, something's having a good gnaw!  Another branch is looking a bit suspect, the leaves are fine but I think our arborist will say it's coming off, then there won't be much tree left :(
