Abel Tasmin Kayaking
Today we went kayaking in Abel Tasman National Park. We were extremely lucky as the weather brightened up - the sun shone bright and the water glistened. Everyone was relieved as the waters were calm, which helped our kayaks glide along smoothly (although we did nearly hit a rock at one point). We visited the famous 'Split Apple Rock'- a big granite rock in the ocean, in the shape of a huge apple cut in half. Our Kayak guide told us many mythical explanations for the split rock. We then visited a secluded beach- we were amazed at the bright gold colour of the sand. Today we definitely saw nature at its finest!
