Decoration Sunday...

...is tomorrow. So the annual ritual is repeated. Check on the burial sites of long-gone relatives, make sure the area is cleaned and fresh artificial flowers are placed to make the site 'presentable' to those that make the annual pilgrimage to the cemetery to 'visit' and reminisce.

It seems to me to be another of those fading traditions. I'm sure I'm not the first to wonder who will carry on once I am gone...
