Meet a great gang working hard for Wembley
As promised yesterday, my blip today is of the great bunch of youngsters from the village ballet/dance class, rehearsing 8 hours today, having already worked for 8 hours yesterday, to dance to a full house at the Wembley Stadium (they did another 16 hr weekend marathon a couple of weeks ago!).
The extra is of the whole squad of 60 (with one of the professionals from Proexcel who is training them for Wembley) who will join another 1,040 at Wembley, from all over the UK, to form the largest ever mass movement dance with a singer, in this case Grammy Award winner 'Foxes'. The Guinness record in 546 dancers.
Forty of the dancers are from Bradford and Leeds (students of Bradford Theatre Arts Performance Academy, which run the classes in the village), 20 from the Emma Pilling Dance Academy in Swinton in South Yorkshire.
I'm worn out just trying to blip them!
The Wembley occasion is the big annual Saracens rugby match on 16th April.
PS. Travelling for a few days from tomorrow morning, looking for WiFi, so posting, comments etc could be a bit erratic.
