Spring Snowbreak

Well... so much for the happy crocus patches and nearly opened daffodils! Snow has landed in the garden again today and again tomorrow. Will not rise to above freezing on either day.
Of course, the original of this snowstorm 'dusted'  and other mid-America states with 18" per day (or hour, I forget the report) so we are lucky with a few very wet inches.
We have high winds too. What happened to spring??
The cats are in the house by preference. Both are watching their very busy Feline-TV channel with varieties of birds stocking up. I may get an 'extra" of them.
Staying indoors catching up on DVDs.
