Baby Beltie

The Belties are still in the field round the corner rather than on the common itself but I don't think it'll be long before they're moved. For now the mums are quite vocal when you approach the gate to the field but soon quieten down when they realise you're not going to enter. This little one was quite happy to pose for me - so cute!

I'm having an archaeology day today, writing up Hampshire, while the men of the house (including Basil) are having a sportsfest, watching Leicester vs Southampton, the final of the World T20 cricket, and then the Grand Prix.
