Going to the Zooo...

We went for a long drive up into the mountains to visit a zoo today. It was immense. We saw lots of creatures, but it was how up close you could get which was amazing.

Only after looking at this picture of The Dopski and a Pea Hen, did I notice that there is a Peacock in full display in the background.....nice.

We saw dolphins performing tricks, parrots on bycicles, Commodo Dragons (very scary), loads of parrots, emus etc. The extra is a pile of emu eggs waiting to hatch. I've never seen them before.

The best bit though was spotting all the lizards in the rock walls as we walked around. One was incredibly black and shiny, with an electric blue tail. I was too slow to photo it though.
