Double daffs

These pretty little double daffodils are still showing rhe effects of overnight rain. Today hasn't been as bright as forecast, but no more rain.
Normous likes to play bridge at the Golf Club on a Sunday morning and he usually comes home to find his Sunday roast ready and waiting. I didn't feel able to cope with cooking a roast dinner, so before he went out he put a joint of braising beef together with some vegetables and a splash of red wine into the slow cooker, and his meal was all ready for him when he got home, as usual!
