Moorhen

This moorhen was sitting with his mate at the side of the canal just outside Stratford.
We went into Stratford on the train, and then walked back, having first stopped for a coffee and chocolate brownie at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (their brownies are pretty good). Stratford and the river were absolutely heaving with day trippers. 
On our way back we spoke to a chap who had just disembarked from his narrow boat, and he was the absolute image of Richard Branson. I did wonder if it was him, as I know he used to live on a narrow boat - I guess it was a lot fancier than this one was though.
