El faro
This morning we went straight into town after breakfast and headed for the tourist office to collect a wealth of leaflets. The weather was very overcast, but it was pleasant enough to wander round town and along the breakwater before stopping off in the street that is clearly tapas central for a glass of cider and a pintxo each. Once again it was buzzing with people, and not purely because there was a triathlon going on around the port. The church and lighthouse are on a rocky spur overlooking the port. All very photogenic -- see a few blip alternatives here.
In the afternoon the sun came out! As the forecast for the rest of the week is non-stop rain, we thought we'd better take advantage of it and walk along the via verde the lady in the tourist office had told us about -- a former railway line. It was a rather boring walk, but it's always nice to be out in the open air on a bright spring day. Now vegging out on the sofa before going back into town for further tapas research.
PS I must point out that yesterday's giant teapot is in France, not Spain. Not that this makes it any less odd :)
