Our new renter

This little purple finch?   has decided to move in right at our front door.  We can see her right out the window.  That's the good news.  The problem is, we just put up the new column that she build her nest on and the painters can't paint until she raises her brood.  We think she is waiting for the eggs to hatch, but every once in awhile I see her picking at whatever is inside.  Either she is turning the eggs, fixing her nest, or feeding her babies.  I have seen dad too.  Will keep checking on her.
