The Tool.

A busy day in the garden still trying to right the wrongs created by Desmond on 4th December 2015.  Somebody is looking at this and thinking "well yes a shot of a patio knife is quite appropriate for a gardening day".  Well you are wrong!

This began life as a patio knife with the two outside edges sharpened.  Now it had had it inside edge sharpened. Thank you Chippy.  It hasn't ever and will never be sued on the patio.  So the next thought in your mind is well what is he going to do with it?

To be honest I hope I never have to use it.  This is getting strange I can hear you thinking.  Well I suppose I should explain.  In 3 weeks we are off on the boat again.  Sometimes things get wrapped round the propeller making movement forwards or backwards virtually impossible until you clear it.  This means removing a "weed hatch cover" and pushing your arm full length down into the cold water.  Then you need to pull/cut the obstruction free, it could be anything from a car tyre, mattress, discarded clothing through to vegetation.

Things may be seeming clearer now?  You hook the tool (I haven't invented a name for it yet) into the obstruction and pull.  Hopefully the obstruction is of a material which will cut and a few strokes clear the prop.  At least that is the theory hopefully it will be a long time until I need to put it to the test.
