Up(s) and Down(s)

Day 8: Cathlemat - Seaside
Finally, we made it to the state of Oregon today. Luckily, we did not need to cross this bridge (to Astoria) for that, as we used a small ferry upstream of the river Columbia. The picture might be deceptive, but the bridge is very high, especially from a cyclist's point of view.

Bit of a tough day. The ascending and descending is getting into our legs, and the weather hasn't been as good as it was days ago. Tomorrow will be an even tougher day (very steep climbs), so probably we'll make it a short one.
