Ornamental?

This morning I carried Ferguson, Ugly Bunny, Baa Lamb, his bag, my phone & something else down the stairs all in one go.
Putting everything (except the little boy!) on the table caused me to forget to pick my phone back up when I left the house.

It was one of those liberating days were, ok you do miss having it, but you don't at the same time. The biggest issue was that I wasn't wearing a watch so had no concept of time whilst I was at on lunch.

It just made me realise, more so now with "Smartphones" how much we rely on always "being in touch" all the time & I think since Easter, my lovely vintage Bakelite phone has only received one incoming call.

The poor thing is being a mere ornament!
