Not the early bird

I was looking out of the window this morning when I spotted a robin grappling with a worm so I went to get my camera, but by the time I'd got it and changed the lens the robin was gone. However just afterwards this bird flew down and had a scout around the same bit of grass, perhaps looking for any scraps that may have been left. It was out of luck.
