Bagpipes and doggle
No hangover! So today was already a win
Had to wake up fairly early to check out. The hotel room was really loud and the bed terrible so I didn't get much sleep last night.
But we were walking over to Daniel and Jenny's hotel when abbey and I were stopped and asked if we would participate in an interview on the street on social issues. We both got £5 vouchers for Starbucks which we thought would help later in the day! We were asked questions about social issues and poverty and it was interesting and something different to do!
Then we went for a massive breakfast! Biggest I've had in a long time but very much needed! Tried haggis too! Thought I would be brave and it was actually ok. Not as bad as I thought it would be I think it's the idea that puts people off but we were all brave and tried it!
Then said our goodbyes to Jenny who has to leave early and then went round the museaum which was amazing! Soooooo big and we barely covered any ground in there and we were there for five hours! So much to see and do!
Then we went for a walk exploring the Royal mile! Met this wonderful fellow piping out some tunes and settled into the Worlds End pub to play doggle and cards against humanity! With pimms ofc
Then home on the train. First class again as another great catch up with abbey! Very much looking forward to her moving up to Newcastle :)
I am so tired and aching. But I have had a truly wonderful weekend. It's a shame it's over
I love Edinburgh
And more importantly I have amazing friends!
