Scrapstore and cake

Another of my favourite ladies. 

I took Connie to the scrapstore where they sell lots of little kits (meant for children) from which yo can make a small stuffed toy from. We bought a Polar Bear kit, and after coffee and cake, bought in the scrapstore's  cafe, we opened the kit and set to work.

Connie was once a gifted needle woman so she was in her element. I took my own little sewing box along so we had plenty of pins and threads needed for the project. 

Connie said she could spend all day there.

I have some admin to do for Nigel this afternoon and a tea time visit later.

Poured with rain for the most of the day thus far.
