At the Ballet

Off to the ballet this evening. We caught the train in plenty of time to have dinner, and find a blip in the evening light. The railways had other ideas. A train had broken down and the announcement foretold of extensive delays. We abandoned the train in search of a bus. Rush hour, crowded and slow. We arrived in time for the ballet after a brisk walk round to the Opera House but no dinner and no blip! A dainty sandwich in the bar and this emergency blip had to suffice!
