Löschweiher

This Löschweiher is one of three artificial ponds in the Landstuhler Bruch.
Many many years ago (a hot summer in the late 1980s I believe it was) there was a huge fire in the area and there was no water to extinguish it. Now there is.

I'm going back to work tomorrow and used the day for another  bicycle ride. No pain after yesterdays first!
A few drops from upstairs coming and going; not too bad.
Found a little bit of colour at the pond.
