Happy!

Someone was very happy to be splashing about on the beach today. This is the beach to the west of Cullen.

Highlights of the day included a DIY brunch (the cafe is closed on Mondays, hence the DIY) - bacon, egg and delicious Lorne sausage (can't get it at home) in a scrummy Scottish roll. (Why are English rolls not anywhere as scrummy as these?)

Managed to avoid the rain when we were out this afternoon :)

A great coastal walk along the beach to Portknockie (some great place names round here) and back along the disused railway, over the viaduct and back into Cullen.

Saw some amazing rock formations on the way.

Ice creams!

Lasagne for dinner, yum.

Off to watch a DVD.

Oh, being on holiday is such hard work....
