Listening to a classic
We started our final day in Copenhagen with visiting the Hans Christian Anderson museum. It was very enjoyable as you could listen to the more well known stories, such as The Little Mermaid, which my lot were sitting on the floor listening to in the above photo.
We had wanted to visit Tivoli as we'd all heard so much about it, however luck is against us as it's been having a lot of work done and it doesn't reopen until the day after we leave! However, Olivia had a plan as it was her choice of activity today and she'd read up about Experimentarium City which is a science centre which was totally hands on. We thought it was going to be a lot like Technopolis in Brussels which is one of our favourite places, however it was much better! We did so much exercise such as running in the giant hamster wheel to generate energy, reaction games, obstacle courses, stationary cycling, rowing, disco dancing (in the bathroom pretending to clean it!), balancing on an imaginary moving bridge, etc. The kids were sweating but refused to stop as it was so much fun.
We didn't realise just how much there was to do here, so even though we were very disappointed about not being able to visit Tivoli, it means that we have a huge incentive to come back one day as there are still a lot of things we'd like to do!
