Cherry blossom.

Is there anything prettier than cherry blossom? It would look nicer against a blue sky but sadly that was not to be today. This is my neighbour's flowering cherry tree but fortunately most of the blossom hangs over in our garden, I get a lovely view of it from my bedroom window. They pruned it last year so it is not as good as usual but passers by still pause to look up at it and to take photos.
