Wave watching

This evening we passed along the surfers beach and stopped to watch the waves. At this point the waves were hitting the wall. It wasn't high tide and it wasn't windy or rough. I am glad we don't live along this part of the coast. Further along a kite surfer was playing amongst the waves as the sun was dipping. I put this shot in the extras.
Lovely day today, having had lunch out with no 1 daughter to celebrate her birthday. :)
