Hanging On

We finally had to let her go. Our beautiful antique R Görs and Kallman piano, made in Berlin in the early 1900s.

It just couldn’t be tuned anymore; restoring it would have cost a fortune. We’d hung onto her for actually, a few years, thinking something magic might have happened and suddenly it could be played again...

We realised how daft we were being and so, with regret, we said goodbye and we’re now planning to buy J a new one.
