Roseroot

We had a day exploring amongst the crags behind Blea Tarn above Haweswater, with occasional precipitous moments scrambling up on insecure foot and handholds. The two early flowerers we were looking for didn't turn up, but lots did: Roseroot, Yellow saxifrage, Thyme, Fir clubmoss, Alpine Ladies Mantle, Starry Saxifrage, Wild angelica, Hard-fern, Mossy Saxifrage, Wood sorrel, Parsley fern, NZ Willowherb and Opposite-leaved golden saxifrage.
