The Day We All Came For

What a day, up early and after a shower ready to go off and watch Anais play her match. Close but ultimately defeated the girls looked as though they had great fun. Miguel dropped me at the beach in time for a coffee and to help set up if needed.
A coffee a Nuovo set us up for the day and before we realised it was 1:30pm and time to meet up.
Having got ourselves in and seated safely out of the way on the "naughty step" Gary and I were moved onto Manolo's table and I had the great pleasure of sitting next to Manolo's mother, Julia, the lack of a common tongue never seems a hinderance and we had a great time as indeed did the other thirty-eight attendees.
After a great meal with superb company four hours later we adjourned outside for a 'comfort break' before retaking our seats for 'El Clasico'.
Barcelona may be touted as the greatest team on earth but Real Madrid obviously knew it was Manolo's birthday and playing with only 10 men still won. Manolo along with his brother Miguel as two Real Madrid fans in a restaurant/bar full of Barca fans were ecstatic and let everyone know.
Eventually at 0130 on Sunday morning those of us still capable of motion made our way to our beds.

A great birthday day.
