Chinese Terracotta Warrior

Went to an exhibition of the Chinese Terracotta Warriors. There are 8000 of these creations and each one is unique and made by hand. Before the terracotta warriors were invented real people were sacrificed and entire 'courts' were sacrificed to be buried with the Emperor so as to serve him in death. The terracotta warrior was in a way, a life saver for many!

It was a very special occasion and made even more so by the great use of lighting and the fact only about 20 of us were in the Coliseum Theater (Barcelona) so we got to wander at our own pace.If you ever get the chance to see these figures I highly recommended it.
