Snake Pass

Another trip across the Pennines into Yorkshire today to visit a baby.

This time we went to see baby Chloe and family in Sheffield.

We set off in the fog with some trepidation, I've driven across Snake Pass in the past in fog and it's no fun. As we neared the peaks, the fog seemed to be getting worse and worse until suddenly we were in blazing sunshine and alll the fog was below us. Really quite a spectaular site. This blip is of derwent water on the other side of the peaks as we came back down into the fog again.

Oh and Hannah met Santa today. She wasn't all that impressed!
