Ice Fishing, Caples Lake

There he was, down a steep embankment off the highway. It sure didn't seem like a great idea to me, since the snow is melting pretty fast around here. Highway 88, between Tahoe and Yosemite, more or less. We are on a mini adventure to grab a couple days of snow play before it's all gone. My idea of fun does not include ice fishing. Just skiing, and maybe trying out snowshoes.
