Pollarded

Just noticed today the first leaves sprutting back on these severely pollarded trees in the park. Have used the "intrepid" filter (whatever that means) and red cross processing in Picmonkey to get the effect. Although it was a very grey and bleak day in the first place, which helped make the branches look so striking.
