Tiny Tuesday: 45

There is an insect that makes these scribbly patterns in the bark of the paperbark tree. I've searched for some info but nothing really definite came to hand.

I have seen quite a few moths emerge from time to time so perhaps they are the artists! ;o)

I've put another shot in as my extra of just a slightly different view for some perspective on what you're looking at.

Not long ago I snapped a gorgeous shot of the bloom of this very tree.
