A Pick me Up

This pen was bought many years ago as a bit of a pick me up, when the dark winter weather was getting to us.  I remember thinking that a holiday or dining out would do the trick, but Jack was convinced this pen would chase away all our woes.  I can't say it did much for me, but all these years later he still uses it most days, so at least in that respect I suppose he was right.  Many thanks to JDO for hosting the challenge this month.

I just have to say thank you to everyone for the tremendous encouragement, stars and hearts left for my MM shot yesterday.  I'm truly surprised it has been so popular, and needless to say I'm thrilled too.
