Blindfolded Fisherman Wife Diptych

Driving over the Scheveningen boulevard I suddenly noticed the statue of 'the waiting Fisherman wife' has been blindfolded. See the extra.

I never saw this before and I do pass it often. I tried to trace the reason why, but couldn't find anyone or the internet to tell me why.

When I was post producing the various images I had shot I hesitated which shot I liked better… the ¾ back view or the ¾ front view, so…

I made two square diptych versions who work like a nice panorama when you hang them next to each other.
