Sunshine on a rainy day....

A wet day to start with. Brian back again today with a different buyer for the bullocks I didn't sell yesterday.
Same script. View, haggle  ,agree a price, hands shaken . Turns out the buyer had parked his lorry along the road "just in case he bought them " so a quick read of ear tags, dig out and sign cattle passports and load them up and away.
Went to the funeral of a former shepherd who used to  work here. He made it to 92 ,and the minister made a decent job of the service. Followed at the grave side by singing The Lord's my shepherd in the pouring rain. A fitting tribute.
By tea time the sun came out and tonight was the best part of the day as you can see by the cows happily grazing tonight
