A Siege of Herons

Although obviously just one here! An evening stroll, and scoot for the kids, through the park and alongside the river Dee where the herons had come to look for dinner, there was about a dozen by the time we left.

I was surprised the kids had the energy for scooting after 15 miles on their bikes this morning and a swim this afternoon, it was certainly a much needed early night for me!
