Had the day off work today which gave me chance to sort out a few things. After a very long phone call I managed to get £250 knocked off what they wanted to charge me for my car insurance (my Dad is a named driver and has a habit of getting speeding tickets). I also popped to the house to pay Steve and confirm a few details. When I got there they were hard at work digging up the floor in the dinning room as they can't lay anymore bricks until the woman has been from planning. She was supposed to come this morning, but I stopped by again this evening with Stu and the brickwork still looked the same so I'm assuming she didn't turn up - Steve will not be happy!
They have been busy though as the floor is pretty much up, the back of the garage is almost gone and the gate post has been removed.
