Daffodil Before Tea

Octave braved the near gridlock on the main all routes out of town to fulfil an appointment in Inverkeithing to sing at a daffodil tea.

Having heard about the problems beforehand and being Southsiders we Flums managed to arrive early, despite the added complication of diversions in Fife, but then anxiously awaited the other choir members making their way from town in various queues of traffic. By some miracle we all arrived just in time to begin as planned, to an especially appreciative audience.

This double bloom was growing in the garden of a boarded-up house near to the church, conveniently at eye-level, taken while watching out for our fellow choristers. Those given to us after the tea will have to be blipped another day.
