Long but interesting

A panorama photo of the audience in the EICC this evening for a debate on the EU referendum organised by the Institute of Actuaries. All generally well behaved, but I did get a bit irritated having to explain basic EU law to Jim Sillars.

A long day. Started with a three way skype interview involving a prospective student from Taiwan and a colleague across the road in Buccleuch Place, proceeding through a lunch for Fellows, some meetings, a lot of emailing, and then ending - after the debate - with a genial dinner with the event hosts and some of the speakers (but with scallops that definitely didn't measure up to the weekend experience...).
