My sister's laundry facilities

I can't imagine how hard work doing the washing used to be

This mangle has been outside my sister's houses for 40+ years but it's decidedly older than that

I was so glad to be able to throw my smalls into her modern equivalent and get my clothes washed and spun after the 45 minute cycle

PS Carol, how would you have coped with such sophisticated laundry facilities as a mangle? Would you still love laundry?
