Wet Chains
A dreich dreich day. After work I did whistle into Waitrose to pick up a click'n'collect kitchen bin, and then stopped at Tesco to pick a click'n'collect microwave. All true. Then, having dropped them off, I made it along to the boat club meeting in time to clamber aboard the boat and have a guddle around the engine, and true enough, as suggested by MrB.Goat, the wires to the stop solenoid had been pulled out their little mini-jacks when I undid something. But no time to put it to the test.
Home to read more about offshore accounts, a Panamanian law firm, and all sorts of skullduggery amongst the rich and powerful. I was amused to see that the firm in question were quoted as saying that there are all sorts of legitimate reasons for having an account in an offshore tax haven. Indeed there are. Now, what have Putin, Assad, Nawaz Sharif, Ayad Allawi, Petro Poroshenko, Alaa Mubarak and twenty-three individuals who have had sanctions imposed on them for supporting the regimes in North Korea, Zimbabwe, Russia, Iran and Syria, got in common?
