Closed for the Winter

In the next field to the cottage is Minehowe. A fascinating place, which no one really understands. At the moment it is closed until the tourists come back at Easter, so this poor sheep has been left there as winter custodian! This morning was lovely and clear and frosty, and Ollie and I went for a good run round the fields. At this time of year all the cows and calves are safely and snuggly in the byres, so apart from avoiding the odd sheep we can go pretty much where we want.

Went to see old friends this afternoon, they were having an at home to celebrate 20 of being in their house and it was super. Lots of other friends there and a good chance to catch up with everyone.
