Riverlog 2012 - Upper Cheakamus, BC

Well the birthday tour had to end eventually but that doesn't mean there's no fun to be had. In fact, we got back just in time to visit the Whistler area in its prime.

The upper Cheakamus has been called one of the hardest "class IV" runs on the west coast and I might have to agree but I prefer to call if class fun. It certainly starts with a bang when you only take 2 or 3 strokes before sending it off the falls...The upper Cheak is a fast roller coaster of river running fun.
