Global warming or just freak storms?

Huge recent storms have wiped away the retaining wall in front of our neighbouring hotel.and cafe.

Heavy machinery was moved in today to shore the wall up, otherwise the next high sea will wipe out the restaurant and many of the bures.

Scary stuff as the locals are convinced the sea is rising very fast.
