Globe thistle

I think that's what it is anyway! I initially thought it was an allium until I looked on the web, but am now sure its a globe thistle which will eventually turn blue and I can just about see a hint of blue on the edges.

I met up with a new bliper this morning for a walk in the woods with Bonnie and her dog Raoul another lovely collie and we had a great walk and managed to stay dry!! Ever since our walk there's been lots of heavy showers. Feel free to say hello to her, here's a link to her journal Kerstin
