Spring Flowers

I went out for a walk this afternoon in Shottery. I was going to go out this morning whilst Ann was out but it started pouring (see extra) so I made myself a coffee and went back to my laptop. The anemones are carpeting the ground by Shottery Brook. This photo, taken into the sun, has Anne Hathway's cottage in the background. Ann picked me up as she was passing and we went for a drink at Nero.
