Groundhog Day

I dropped Daniel off at the station, to catch a train for Cambridge. He was meeting Jon after work who then drove him to Coventry. They return home tomorrow after an interview for a placement in a place called Fradley. He has been trying to find a placement for his 3rd year, which is proving quite a challenge. We are keeping our fingers crossed for this one.

Mollie did a bit of shopping, I walked over to the main shopping centre to buy some jeans for Jon that id seen yesterday in a sale. This photo was taken from the bridge crossing the river to King Street, one of the oldest parts of the city. They are developing all long the river, so I've no doubt some exclusive apartments will pop up here soon. You can just see the tower of the Peter Parmentergate church and the castle in the distance. It was a dreary day, weather wise.

We drove home via Asda for diesel, and Pets at Home for crickets. Getting in later than we'd anticipated we had a late lunch. Henry had been left at home to clean and tidy his room. He started just as we got home.

I tidied a bit, with plans for more tomorrow. Now we are playing scrabble & I'm thinking about getting a hot water bottle. We turned off the heating on Sunday (after we got our electricity bill!) and now it feels a bit chilly!
