Discovery Walk

Lord Provost Bob Duncan formally opened Discovery Walk today, unveiling a series of beautiful bronze plaques recognising people with links to Dundee who have made important contributions to science and society. 

The plaques have been designed by Suzanne Scott of Whimsical Lush.

Exciting times in Dundee with this being the first part of Dundee Waterfront's regeneration project  which will culminate in the opening of the V&A Museum of Design in 2018.

Sadly, the walk is not yet open to the public so I had to take a photo through the fencing surrounding it - I'm looking forward to getting a closer look at the plaques once they are more accessible!
