Evening light

We've moved back into our own bedroom, which faces East.  So on waking this morning, I could see an orange glow through the curtains.  But W was still asleep, and I didn't want to disturb.  By the time I had showered and gone downstairs, the glow had mostly disappeared.  

But it certainly lived up to its "shepherd's warning".  We've had alternating showers (including some hail, I'm told) and sun all day.  This evening, there was wonderful light, and a faint rainbow - JUST visible on this photo between the 2 trees.

I had to do an extra of dinner - as I cooked it, just for a change.  Admittedly mostly out of the freezer.
